If you are buying for a friend or loved one, but have no idea where to start - why not let me help?
Send me an email with answers to the 'deciding on color and style' questions below and I'll try and design them the perfect piece, from the information you give.
I can also provide a gift-wrapping service and custom designed cards, for that extra special touch.

Portfolio-based pieces:

Everything in my collection is hand-crafted and unique.
However, if you spot a piece you like, I'm happy to make a similar item and tailor it to your own style and color preference.

If you would like me to customize a piece from my collection, drop me an email, noting any relevant details from the 'portfolio ordering' and 'general ordering' sections. From this information I will give some design suggestions and a quote.

Deciding on color and style

The following questions are designed to help ascertain what design would most suit the recipient. You may also want to note the 'general ordering information' section.

The person in question:
1. Most commonly wears silver or gold jewelry?
2. Likes chunky or delicate jewelry?
3. Likes bold and striking looks or simple and minimal?
4. Favors a casual or more formal style?
5. Prefers what color palettes in clothing?

summer colors
winter colors
spring colors
autumn colors

6. Mostly wears patterned clothing or solid, block-colors?
7. Has what color hair?
8. Has what color skin?
9. has what color eyes?

Portfolio ordering

1. Which portfolio piece are you interested in?
2. What color(s) would you want to include?
3. Do you have any specific gemstones in mind? (the stones used will have a large bearing on cost)
4. What metal are you interested in - sterling silver, gold, copper, pewter, silver-plated or gold-plated? (plated metals, pewter and copper are the more cost-effective solutions)

General ordering information

The answers to these questions will allow me to design a suitable piece for whomever receives it:

1. Are you interested in a necklace, a bracelet, earrings or any combination?
2. If looking at a necklace, please state what length (please see below).
3. If looking at a bracelet, please include a wrist measurement.
4. Would the recipient have difficulty with fiddly catches?

Necklace lengths

These are the most common lengths for womens necklaces. This is a rough guide only and actual measurements are strongly recommended.

Collar - 10"-13"

Wraps the narrowest part of the neck and is best suited to boat-neck and off-shoulder necklines .
Choker - 14"-16" Sits just above the collar bone and looks great with almost all necklines with the exception, perhaps, of turtle necks.
Princess - 17"-19" Hits just below the collar bone and is best with crew-neck, boat-neck, round-neck or open-necked buttoned shirts.
Matinee - 20"-24" Reaches just above the sternum and suits crew-neck, boat-neck and deep v-neck.
Opera - 28"-34" Hits at the bottom of the ribcage. When worn single-strand they suit high neckline tops and turtlenecks but can also be worn double-strand as a choker.
Rope - 40"+ These are long, belly-length necklaces which look stunning with high-neckline dresses and tops, but can be worn double-strand as a matinee or triple as a collar/choker.
